Working as a caretaker can be challenging but is very rewarding

I've been working for Octavia Housing for 7 months and I'm very happy to be part of the company. The teams are wonderful, all members of staff are very polite and professional and are always trying to help the caretakers and residents as much as they can.

Making part of a well-known organisation and deal with the public in a daily basis makes my job enjoyable. I am able to use here my own initiative and manage my time.

The customer’s service training that Octavia provides has helped me a lot to improve my work. I've developed many new skills so far and valuable knowledge of customer’s service.

My job as a caretaker consist in cleaning the communal areas on my estate, make sure that lights, lifts, doors, CCTV cameras etc are working properly and in good conditions.

Working as a caretaker can be challenging at times but is very rewarding.
